Clarity Counseling of Delaware

Six conditions.
The evidence-based treatment each one requires.

We provide specialized therapy for anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and grief. Every clinician, every method, and every session is oriented toward clinical outcomes, not just support.

Anxiety Therapy

When worry becomes a full-time job.

Generalized anxiety, panic disorder, and social anxiety share the same mechanism: avoidance that compounds over time. Our therapists use CBT and ACT to address that cycle directly, building tolerance for uncertainty rather than finding ways to manage around it.

OCD Therapy

ERP is the gold-standard treatment for OCD.

Exposure and Response Prevention is the gold-standard treatment for OCD, backed by decades of clinical research. We don't use reassurance strategies or workarounds. Our clinicians help clients confront obsessions directly and interrupt the compulsive responses that keep OCD in control.

Depression Therapy

Low motivation is a symptom, not a character flaw.

Depression often resists insight-based talk therapy on its own. We combine behavioral activation with DBT skills to create forward momentum before motivation returns, because waiting to feel ready is one of the ways depression maintains its hold.

Trauma Therapy

Processing trauma, not just talking about it.

EMDR targets how traumatic memories are stored, not just their narrative content. It has strong clinical evidence for PTSD and complex trauma, and works differently from traditional talk therapy in ways many clients find more tolerable.

Couples Therapy

Most couples wait too long to start.

The Gottman Method is built on more than 40 years of research into what distinguishes stable couples from those heading toward separation. Sessions address communication patterns, conflict management, and shared meaning rather than relitigating past arguments.

Grief Therapy

Grief doesn't follow a schedule.

The Dual Process Model treats grief as moving between loss-orientation and restoration-orientation, rather than progressing through fixed stages. This framework is effective for acute bereavement and for grief that has persisted for months or years without resolution.
