In Their Own Words
"Life can be unpredictable, bringing challenges we never expected and transitions that test our strength. My passion is helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, relationship concerns, and life changes with compassion, understanding, and practical support. Together, we can build resilience, foster healing, and create a path toward greater balance, growth, and well-being."
Shana is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to supporting adolescents and adults as they navigate life's challenges. Her work focuses on helping individuals manage anxiety, regulate anger, and heal from trauma through a compassionate, client-centered approach.
Her approach is rooted in trauma-informed care that prioritizes safety, trust, and empowerment. Using strengths-based and evidence-based practices, she collaborates with clients to build practical skills, increase self-awareness, and foster resilience. She is dedicated to providing individualized, person-centered care, and her goal is to create a supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and equipped to make meaningful changes.
She is also committed to providing LGBTQIA+ affirming, inclusive, and culturally responsive support. Her experience includes working with individuals across diverse gender identities, sexual orientations, and relationship structures, while fostering a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental environment. She strives to honor each person's lived experience, use affirming language and practices, and support clients in exploring identity, navigating life transitions, building resilience, and achieving their personal goals.
Her clinical approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). These modalities allow her to tailor treatment to each individual's needs, helping clients develop healthier coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, and process past experiences.
